Sarah has supported four distinct projects at DA related to education and climate change. She worked with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation on developing 12 dashboards to tell the story of how US $1B are being invested over four years to improve math instruction for US students. She also supported project management activities for the American Cities Climate Challenge, which helps core partners and communities promote climate action, sustainability, resilience, and equity in the fight against climate change. Currently, Sarah is supporting communities to apply for competitive federal grants in education, workforce, and economic development through the Community Funding Accelerator.
Prior to joining DA, Sarah worked at Accenture, a global professional services company, where she developed and implemented a data governance training program for a Fortune 500 telecommunications company. The program empowered 4,000+ employees to fulfill their responsibilities and govern data throughout the enterprise effectively. In this role, she collaborated with 30+ stakeholders to design a comprehensive training strategy, created and launched training materials, and established standards for the client to leverage to ensure sustainability.
She also strengthened Accenture's relationship with a local non-profit organization, United Way of King County, by promoting community events and volunteer opportunities focused on advancing racial equity and facilitating a successful grant application for their programs.
