Luciana Petrone

Luciana works in partnership with a major philanthropy to implement innovative ideas in cities. She helps create active networks of cities to disseminate proven successful policies, and offers technical assistance to help new cities adopt and deliver on those policies.
Previously, Luciana was a Project Coordinator in the Social Protection Program of CIPPEC, an Argentinean think-tank, where she led a project to evaluate and assist the implementation of a training program for entrepreneurs in the City of Buenos Aires. As a result, she observed firsthand the challenges and opportunities associated with implementing public programs. Before that, she worked for the company as an analyst and helped with multiple social policy projects.
Luciana also participated in the Study of U.S. Institutes, an international seminar for Latin American students on U.S. history and government. She received a full scholarship for the program from the Argentinean Fulbright Commission and the U.S. Department of State.
