Laura is currently researching common challenges and support needs to help U.S. cities achieve their housing goals, with a focus on housing affordability, supply, and the unhoused. She is conducting this research on behalf of a philanthropy interested in creating a large-scale housing program that could provide cities with housing resources, technical assistance, policy expertise, best practices, and/or peer networking.
Trained in sustainability, management consulting, and economics, Laura's diverse background includes roles at Bain & Company, Harvard Business School, The Nature Conservancy, and ENGIE Impact. She helped define post-COVID-19 reopening plans for the second largest school district in the U.S., which impacted 750,000 students. She also assessed the economic viability of PPP-agribusiness projects in Latin America, which created 30,000 direct jobs in sustainable farming.
