Grace Pynnonen
- BA, Public Policy, University of Michigan
As part of a major philanthropy's sustainability initiative, Grace supports four U.S. cities in curbing their carbon emissions and decreasing reliance on fossil fuels through planning and implementation coaching.
She also helps cities respond to and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic by developing digital tools and systems. Most recently, she worked with Knoxville, Tennessee, to create a dashboard to monitor housing and utility instability. The tool supports data-driven policy analysis, and is decreasing both evictions and energy cut-offs.
Grace developed and facilitated strategy workshops for governors, department directors, and mayors to help create their priorities, stakeholder engagement plans, and team structure. Grace has also supported the redesign of a state program that delivers over 8 million non-emergency medical transportation trips every year.
