Delivery Experience

As a Project Leader on the DA Digital team, Desireé has provided strategic management and end-to-end implementation support for countries in the North American and Latin American region, including:

  • Co-creating an ambitious 3-year strategic plan for a leading US organization that supports governments and communities in the creation of tech-supported solutions. Her work focused on the criminal legal system, tax benefits, and participation in social programs in the U.S.
  • Building digital solutions for U.S. city governments to better contain COVID-19 spread while supporting economic recovery. Solutions include data analytics platforms, communication platforms, data automation processes, and mobility analysis dashboards.
  • Installing a new credit system to boost agricultural productivity and exports.
  • Creating an e-government platform to achieve transparency and efficacy for business and real state development.
  • Designing a commuting system for K-12 public schools in vulnerable urban areas.
Other Experience

Prior to joining DA, Desireé spent 2 years at McKinsey & Company, focusing on public and social sector, banking, environmental sustainability, and diversity selected projects. She designed and installed a performance management & compensation system for the largest financial conglomerate in Latin America, defined productive reforestation business cases, advised new government in the identification of national priorities and implementation strategies, advised First Lady in the design of flagship program for vocational orientation and STEAM, and designed the first diversity forum and content agenda for McKinsey & Company. She previously spent almost 5 years working as a civil servant for the Peruvian Government and almost 1 year working at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
